Elgood Oy and ELESTA GmbH has partnered

Elgood Oy is now an official distributor in Finland and the Baltic states of ELESTA GmbH. We are glad to have such a strong partner with high quality products that fit great to our selection.

Elesta GmbH roots are in 1952, where many innovations were realized until 1996, including relays, control systems, optical sensors and measuring. Elesta relays GmbH was founded in 1997, and in 2013 was renamed Elesta GmbH, which is part of the PILZ GmbH & Co. KG Group of Companies.

Products consist of sensor products and electromechanical components. Relays with forcibly guided contacts are standard elementary relays according to IEC 61810-1 used in different applications as functional safety, such as track crossing, lifts, robots, laser and welding technology, X-ray equipment or construction cranes.

There are many different use cases for forcibly guided relays, and whenever there is an application where functional safety is needed, together with Elesta we will find best solutions for our customers.

What is the specialty of Elesta relays?

Elesta develops and produces electromechanical components in Europe. Elesta relays are equipped with forcibly guided contacts, in accordance with IEC 61810-3. This means, that all contacts are connected to each other so that normally open and normally closed contacts are not closed at the same time, even in the disturbed state. Elesta has 8 relay series and 13 housing types, that covers almost all different customer requirements, including the most demanding ones.

SID-Series Relays

• Double armature relay with two completely independent forcibly guided contact sets
• With SID312 relay, possible to replace two conditional relays with 3 NO and 1NC
• New development with two independent forcibly guided contact sets according to IEC 61810-3 Type A
• Achieves great savings potential in all technical and ecological areas, combined with an improvement in the reliability of the entire control architecture.
