From January 2021, articles placed on the EU market containing substances of very high concern will be submitted to SCIP database. Notification will be made for SVHC substances on the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) candidate list that are present in articles at concentrations above 0.1 % by weight.
Elgood is aware of this obligation and will comply with EU legislation. To ensure compliance with these requirements, we oblige our suppliers to comply with the requirements of the REACH Regulation.
Elgood is a distributor of electronics components and manufacturers' representative. We do not manufacture components and have no direct knowledge of the composition of electronic components or the materials and substances used in the manufacturing processes. We actively collect material information from manufacturers about the products we supply.
Elgood pays attention to quality, safety and environmental issues when selecting suppliers and we only represent manufacturers who are committed to them.
